SPN Rumour Mill - Response Post/Reaction :P

All right so I go MIA from the Internet for a few days and when I get back Tumblr is abuzz... Apparently there was a leaked script (which people are now saying was fake) and apparently there's some hand-holding involved because of the one picture from the trailer... *runs off to find it*
All right, so yes, it does look like hand holding and people are stipulating that it's Dean keeping Cas grounded and everything but also guys... There's this picture:
Where it looks like Dean is holding Castiel's sleeve but actually it's the camera angle. Dean has the Horsemen rings in his hand and is holding them slightly in front of himself. Lots of people use it as a sleeve-grab image though.
So my point guys, camera angles are little buggers and Edlund may have Destiel love but I don't think he'd have them holding hands given recent info at JIB 3... I mean if Misha and Jensen thought it was OOC of D and C to say "sappy" lines to one another than what would they feel about handholding? And no, Misha and Jensen are not homophobic, they just understand D and C better than anyone and most certainly better than Gamble.
Regardless, I am hardcore Destiel, you guys know this, but I don't want them to hold hands for exactly the same reason as Jen and Mish wanted the "I always thought you'd come back one day" line cut (Jen wanted the trenchcoat kept - he's pro bromance so don't freak guys) it's OOC, especially given the current situation with the trust issues between Dean and Cas. Even if Cas is using the contact to ground himself - which I understand - I think I much rather that image be a wrist grab - it's just far more solid than a handhold it is also more clingy than a handhold would be. Cas is crazy for cocoa puffs with Luci rattling about upstairs so he needs all the clinging he can get.
Additionally, and this is what I really wanted to say, people are thinking that Destiel is gonna be canon and, yes, it is half-way to canon already, I'm pretty sure even Mish and Jen wouldn't deny that, but if that's the direction that the writers want to take it, I don't want it to happen until the final moments of the final episode of the final season. Why? I personally adore the UST and theorizing in regards to Destiel.
I adore my ship and I will go down with my ship but I don't want Destiel to become an SPN story arc - pussyfooting around yes, but I don't want it in my face until the last moment because frankly, I enjoy how D&C/Jen&Mish, play off one another without it. Or if they do go canon with it (which I doubt TBH) they do it along the same vein as spn_redemption who have done so just beauitfully and masterfully and are as a result the light of my life.
Anyway, Mish and Jen are actors and professionals, they will do their parts for us wherever Sir Carver intends to take us. If Sir Carver wants to take us there? Well who am I to disagree with him, I just have major fear over it. Cuz Guys, if it's actual real canon that means there could be an actual real break-up which would totally shatter my soul.
Have some pretty guys, because Cockles is love just as much as Destiel.
