I think that with the changing of the guards we will get what the fandom should want. All characters being written in character, having their story arcs/development lovingly created and nurtured.

I feel with Carver coming back. He has some work ahead of him.

As for Jensen, both J's have expressed their desire to have not only Misha back, but other secondary characters. And yes can you image the epicness of Jensen directing Misha

Carver's episodes have never disappointed me and he has some exec experience. He knows how to handle the characters I think but he does also have a lot of damage control caused by this season, unfortunately.

Hopefully Bob Singer and Carver will listen to the Js and we'll get some of our favourites back. I'm pretty sure Jim will be back regardless, killing off Bobby entirely just cannot happen in SPN.

Fingers crossed for a Jensen directing Misha episode, in which Balthazar and Gabriel return... lol Can you imagine? That would be the epic episode of epicness...
