Asch Essay, Pre-Game stuff

In here be spoilers for Tales of the Abyss and my own incoherent babbling, which is supposed to be an attempt to understand/explain my interpretation of Asch. I'm PRETTY SURE the reason Asch is dying throughout the game is because of what eventually happens when they both die. Basically, Luke and Asch are the 'data' for one purpose spread out across two people, and this inately wants to be whole again. When Luke and Asch die and create a 'Big Bang' because they are in some kind of SPECIAL FONON SHIELD that makes them the only two elements within it, their hyperreasonances like, unite, and mesh back together again.

From my notes: "The Contamination effect is an effect where the fonons and elements of matter separate and refuse together."It's the Contamination effect that makes the original cheagle weaker, and that is killing Asch. I don't know HOW IT DECIDES to go for the original or the replica, I imagine it can work either way, but the end result is EVENTUALLY ONE MUST GO BACK TO THE OTHER. My GUESS is that once Asch had Luke's fon slots opened so they could communicate, it initialized the contamination effect, since they were now 'open' to each other. Until then Asch was probably fine ( ... )

Oooh, so then it didn't start until Asch put that plan into motion with having Luke's fon slots opened which... in turns gives more evidence to the Fabre tradition of suiciding or something. That makes sense; I'll have to edit the essay later.
