A day together

It was Nick and Sara's day of and they choose to spend this day together, they weren't dating but both had strong feelings for each other without each other knowing.
Nick had volentered to pick Sara up from her house at 9.
Sara was up in her bedroom getting ready she had 5 minutes till Nick was suppose to come, she was sitting infront of the mirror putting on her make up.
she couldn't actually believe Nick had asked her out, she didn't know if was a date or just a friendly day out, but what she knew was that her feelings for Nick was strong and today if any, was to tell him she loved him, all these feelings were floating around in Sara's head, she felt a tear come to the corner of her eye.
What if he didn't feel the same, she would never be able to show up for work again, it would mess up their whole friendship.
The tear soon fell, 'Darn, good going Sara, Nick will be here in a minute and you have wrecked your make up.'
She went into the bathroom to rub it off, then she went back to start agin, when she had done she sat down stairs on the couch, sitting in the silence waiting for the man she loved.
Nick who was sitting round the corner in his car was trying to sort his thoughts out, he loved Sara ever since the day she saw her for the first time.
But he wasn't sure if Sara felt the same, he had felt this for a while, he had feelings for Sara, not just feelings, strong feelings that mad him go crazy from time to time, seeing her at work, seeing her smile, hearing her say his name, just the thought of Sara sent shivers down his spine, not bad shivers, good ones, the ones you feel when you are in love.
He looked himself up and down, he was wearing his white open neck shirt and tight jeans that made him look just great, he knew that, but he couldn't help but think, this isn't good enough for Sara.
He had no time to change it was nearly 9. As he started up the car, he said to himself "I'm going to tell her, i'm going to say 'Sara i love you, i have since i first met you, i'm crazy about you', I'm going to do it today at Lunch."
He slowly made his way round the corner, for the Unhappiness of the driver behind and piped his horn making Nick jump, he went a bit faster then pulled into the drive of Sara's Apartment, he got out and went to knock on Sara's door.
The door was already open and there was Sara, standing in all her glory.
"I heard you coming, well when i say you, i mean the driver behind you, i have never seen you driving so slow Nick"
"I have my reasons" Nick replied and gave Sara a smile and a little wink.
Sara locked the door and Nick held out his arm, linked together thy made their way to Nicks Tahoe.
"So why were you going so slow, i have seen a snail drive faster down here?"
"O haha" Nick said sarcasticaly, "I was thinking, about you."
"Is that good or bad?"
Sara was hoping it was good.
"Oh, Good of course, i was thinking of you, not Grissom, there is nothing bad to think about you, your all good."
Sara blushed and Nick smiled.
"So what was i 'doing' in your thoughts Nicky?"
Sara questions whilst getting into the passenger side of Nicks car, Nick jumped in the driver seat.
"Well..I was.. You were.."
Sara inturupted.
"Come on Nicky Spit it out!"
"OK, i may as well say this now so if you disagree you can go back home"
Nick paused to think if it was right, should i tell her, what would happen if she didn't love him back, it would brake his heart.
"...It doesn't matter."
"Yes Nick it matters, i wanna no."
"I love you" Nick muttered, it was obvious Sara didn't hear him.
"What Nick"
"I love you Sara Sidle, ever since the day we met, I'm crazy about you"
Sara sat there, trying to take it all in, He loved her. he really loved her, and she loved him.
Nick had a worried look on his face.
"The doors are unlocked, you can leave."
"Don't be silly Nicky, it's just, WOW, you love me"
"Yeah it's silly ain't it, i should have never said anything."
"Yes, Nicky you should, the truth is, i love you to, i have since we met, i was going to tell you, but i just didn't know if you felt the same, but you do and I'm so happy."
"You love me too?"
"Yes Nicky, don't so shocked!"
Sara leant over and kissed Nick on the lips, she went to move back for air but Nick pulled her back, taking every ounce of breath he had in him to make that the best kiss ever, what seemed like hours but was only seconds, Sara finally broke from the kiss, and sloped back into her chair.
"I could get use to that"
"That's good, anyway lets get going, you have money right, i supposed a Lady like you would want to go shopping."
"Yeah i have money."
Sara smiled, Nick just caught it and smiled back.
