well, the above thanksgiving dinner quote doesnt count, because you don't see your uncles & aunts all that often, generally.
i do learn things in school - the philosophers. i couldn't tell you which one it was, but he remarked that the body you are living in is completely different from the one you were born in. and there must be a mind, and soul, or else how would you explain these memories?
but if we change all the time, discarding dead cells and growing anew, then i wonder why we keep these defects.
