My luck with fish is rather bad.
We had a saltwater tank. Well, have. In this tank, we filled it with fish you'd seen on Finding Nemo. Clownfish, a Moorish Idol, a blue tang and a few others. It's not a big tank in the slightest, but hey. It's a tank.
The very first day after we purchase them, the blue tang dies. Just dies. It was probably sick, really, and contaminated the water. Then the clownfish died, then the others, until we just had the Moorish Idol. Today, Gill, the Moorish Idol, died. I'm really quite sad, as he was my favorite and I thought he'd live for a long while. He started swimming upside down and not eating, so we prepared ourselves for the worst.. he died way too soon, in my opinion.
Prior to this, we had a freshwater tank... same story, only with different fish. This happened... oh, four times?
Come to think of it, my Shih Tzu is pretty old. Eight. I know these dogs live to around thirteen years of age, which gives me six more years... but still.
My luck with animals in general might just suck, considering my first dog, a boxer named Chance, ran away. Granted, I was only eight myself when I got him... My parents were and still are rather strange.
