[The outside of the fire station clicks into view, quite shaky at that. Thick, almost unnatural-seeming vines climb the brick and mortar, vigorously being torn away by someone off-screen. His black gloves are visible now and then and from the way the camera quivers and sways, he's exerting quite a bit of force to pull the plants off the wall

I'll keep my eyes sharp... I've encountered a number of vines with large thorns, I expect to locate more. How are you faring? How is the church?

Yeah, I've seen those, too.

We're fine here, but the Church is pretty bad. I can barely clear out a path to get in and out, and most of the time it's not worth the bother.

I assumed the village would be worse than the city... A machete would be a beneficial tool for your situation. [He continues to hack away the vines up the wall, clearing through them quickly with the sharpened blade.]

I've got a sword, but it's too long to be useful. *Technically, he doesn't need anything in the first place, but hah, he just can't say that, can he? He's not even sure why, anymore--surely he can trust Frank? Snake knows, Naomi knows... What does he have to lose?*

[Frank stops his movements, looking to his blade. Can he even remember where he got it? It feels as if this simple tool has been with him as long as he can remember. Is this the same machete he's always had while he was serving in the FOX unit? Was this the same machete he was trained with all those years ago? Did he receive this particular one after being taken into Big Boss' custody?]

I've tried clearing stuff a couple of times, and you could barely see it the next day.

I could at least clear the doorway to allow you and your comrades to safely leave... Even if it is just for today.
