All right!
Some notes concerning Itachi's faked death.
For any who read the log, you know most the story, and for those who didn't, a summary of it is as follows.
Itachi has had a bit too much to focus on the past few weeks, and things have been wearing him down. As the only present Akatsuki with immediate family he has a little larger of a target paited on his head than those with simply just a small personal life outside their work (minus Deidara who of course was planning to start a family, so he and Itachi are roughly in the same boat). That aside, Itachi decided to cut his attachments and lessen the chances of those close to him being targeted anymore, thereby lessening a great deal of weight upon his shoulders. And to successfully do this as well as cut down upon other stress (since he will no longer be running his business, etc.) he decided the best way to go... would be to go. Six feet under. But not permanently. He had Sasori concoct a poison that would force him into a sleeping state very closely resembling death, and after taking the poison (which took a bit of time to take effect) he called out Gin for the kidnapping of his brother. They fought, and Itachi in a round about way that doesn't currently involve police, framed Gin for his murder. So now he is 'dead'. And the only ones who know are Akatsuki. And our wonderful mods. And now you guys, but none of that counts since you're not the characters!
Anyways, he is incapacitated presently until after the funeral which will be held tomorrow, Wednesday July 5th. The funeral will be held in the evening hours, but for the sake of the RPers will begin early morning/afternoon sometime EST hours. I'd like to request... maybe instead of doing a chat, we do an action thread? Jill, is that all right with you and the other mods? Would be easier considering timezones and people working, etc.
Anywho, after the funeral he will be dug up (YAY FOR GRAVE ROBBING!) and given an antidote... and voila! He's no longer dead. At least to those who know.
He'll be assuming an alias and working under cover of that, and more information on it will be posted later in his actual journal (in private postings from now on) after the funeral.
Also, expect to see his written will sometime soon. When I can figure out how to write the damn thing and make the alterations required... The form confuzzles my brain!
