Another happy, sunny day.
Though it'll take a couple more before the yard dries out enough to mow... and it's probably going to rain again tomorrow.

I got more writing done, thanks to the writing group I'm part of. It guarantees I do at least an hour a week... which encourages me to do more.
The stereo in the Kia goes to 11... and beyond. I probably lost a couple of dB for a few days, listening to this song (Cosmic Castaway) a few times on the way home. Makes me want to see the movie (Titan A.E.) again. Such great cheese-drenched moments.
I got a fantastic gryphon figure. I would take a picture and share, but the camera's not where it belongs. *sigh* It's this one.
Our old coffee pot, beloved for lo these many years, finally started coughing up blood coffee-grounds the other day. It did it once, got some treatment and was fine for a few days. Then it relapsed and blew chunks all over the place again. So... *snif* we had to put it down. There was a short but bittersweet ceremony. Now we've got a new Kittepot. Coffeepup. Something like that. Shiney and new, and makes coffee in the pot and not on the counter.
I'm starting to get kinda dissapointed with the writing in Castle. It's a shame. Between so predictably alternating the "Funny hahah!" and the "OMG SERIOUS!" episodes, the serious ones are just... lazy. These last two especially. People being stupid and failing to learn does NOT make drama.
You should know better than to open the suitcase you just found, in the garage, without calling anyone first. What happened the last time? Huh? You dropped your gun again?! Seriously? They did manage a couple of good surprises, but c'mon. Try harder. You were better than this. And it just makes the comedy/drama back/forth more ham/handed.
And speaking of cinema... Netflix just delivered Splice, so I should go watch that. THE STANDARDS HAVE BEEN DOUBLED!
