Winding down, winding up.
I've been really enjoying my gift to bfly... I got her a Nook E-reader (say that a few times fast, it just gets more and more fun), and she's reallllly been using it. Makes me grin every time I walk past and see her reading it. :>
And she, crazy lady, got me the first 8 seasons of NCIS. We love that darn show, and now we can finally sit down and watch them IN ORDER... which makes a difference sometimes.
I got "Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children", which is proving quite fun so far! And also Ludo's "You're Awful, I Love You", which I really dig.
Speaking of music... oh, man... blaze-griffin... Beat Hazard is so much explody chaotic noisy fun! Thank you! :>
Skyrim continues to be awesome, but... my Khajiit character's saves won't run for more than 10 or 15 minutes at a stretch before CTD (Crashing To Desktop), which is just too frustrating to deal with. I started a big burly buff & bulky Argonian, with the intent of going pure melee with him. However... you -have- to have some ranged skills if you're ever going to have any hope of dealing with dragons, so he's carrying a bow. And some spells are awefully darn handy too, so... he'll probably just be mostly Heavy Armor Hand To Hand.
I sure look forward to a patch that addresses the horribly chronic CTDs in later games, it really hurts the fun. But it's crazy - with my new character, in just a couple of hours of play... I already found a couple of places near the starting area that I'd never found before. Crazy. I would have sworn I'd walked everywhere around there, but... nope!
Anyway... back to the frenzied insanity of Beat Hazard!
