Yeah, most of my NaNoWriMo stuff lives over on stoda-writes, but... I finally had one of those 'things are crystalizing' moments, where all came together really well, plus I got about 3k words tonight. It just felt really good.
I always intended my young heroine to be a bit of a badass, eventually, but... I think she surprised herself by intimidating someone many (!!) years her senior. This may be the point where she starts coming a bit more into her own.
Anyway, yay success!
Also, I thought it was very cool that John Gibbons came by the write-in. Nice to get to chat with him a little.
