The events of episode nine ended with the Ghost finally falling in love with Stocking, proposing to her. After Stocking accepted, the Ghost's regret ended (being formed from the regret and bitterness of rejected men), and he ascended to Heaven. Stocking cried as he left, but with a little time, she recovered, keeping the ring he gave her inside her room.
[Personality] The first thing most people notice about Stocking (aside form her Elegant Gothic Lolita style and black-pink hair) is her insatiable sweet tooth. She is almost always seen eating something sweet, be it cake, pudding, or anything else in between. She hates spicy foods, though seems to make exceptions to this rule; namely, Garter's curry and the time Panty gave her the spicy variant of a pudding she loved.
Her overall attitude most of the time is calm and unflappable, almost bored. She has a natural sarcasm, dry wit, and a poker face that can be hard to read at times. She can usually be found enjoying a cup of tea and some sweets in her room when not on the job. Despite this outward attitude, when agitated or angry, her swearing can be on equal level with her sister's. There are two surefire ways to trigger her anger: by taking her sweets, or calling her fat.
In many ways, Stocking is the opposite of Panty. While Panty sleeps with just about any man, Stocking is a little more selective about those she gets into bed with. This probably ties into the fact she has heavy kinks, including bondage and pain; when electrocuted while she and Panty were on trial on a TV program (a trap set up by Scanty and Kneesocks), she claimed she was in ecstasy. Plus, when an octopus Ghost attacked Stocking on the beach, she was rather loathe to actually fight it due to how it had wrapped a tentacle around her. Possibly as a result of this, Stocking takes Panty's almost slut-like nature in stride, even willingly holding on to her panties (which double as her weapon) so she can have a quickie with a guy in the first episode. However, this doesn't stop her from ribbing at Panty for her sex habits.
Like her sister, Stocking is more prone to doing things that suit her desires, rather than what needs to be done. She'd rather sit around and snack all day rather than go out and combat Ghosts. If it weren't for the fact slaying Ghosts gave her and Panty Heaven Coins, she probably wouldn't bother. It also helps to bribe her with sweets, especially ones that are rare or difficult to get a hold of.
In the end, what really matters most to Stocking is Panty. Yes, nine times out of ten, they either want to kill each other or see one another as sources of extreme irritation. However, in the end, Stocking loves and cares for her sister, even if she'll die before admitting it.
[Specialties/Abilities] Stocking's main ability to make swords out of her stockings, named Stripes I and Stripes II. Like Panty, it's also assumed that she can make weapons out of other people's stockings, though their effectiveness might vary depending on what they are. Stocking's skill with her swords is unmatched, though her rival, Kneesocks, puts up a pretty decent fight. Despite this, her sword can only kill Ghosts. She can hit humans with it, but it'll feel more like being hit with a stick, and not issue a killing wound. She has quite a few melee skills as well, due to the nature of her weapon.
It's assumed that she used to have the ability to fly; when transforming into her angel mode with Panty, a halo and wings can be seen briefly on them both. Perhaps due to being punished, essentially fallen angels, she now lacks this ability, resulting in the need for See-Through, the angels' car.
