So, I got the good ol' quarterly bonus from work on friday, and prompty drove out to the camera store. Ive had my eye on a DSLR ever since I took the photography class at school, and I recently figured that I had the money to finally get one. I ended up with a canon rebel xt, with a 28-135 IS USM lens, for anyone that knows about these things. Im REALLY happy with it.
I still don't have a great photo system that integrates into my other site, so for right now, im using flickr. [link]. Most of the pics there are from the trip i took today to a nearby park. turns out flickr doesn't really support full-sized images, and is already warning me about my monthly upload limit, so I might be looking into a paid account with them, or some other hosting system. If anyone has any suggestions for any of the above, please let me know,
