Ernie decided to take a break at the smoothie bar. He'd signed up one customer and finished the scheduling for next week; he deserved a reward, he reckoned. Plus he was tired. Ernie had worked a few days at the soap shop when Eleanor had taken ill. Working two jobs was as exhausting as he remembered. Even if he had been getting loads more sleep this time around.
Sam had the special of the day served up before Ernie could even open his mouth. He slid it across the counter as Ernie handed over a galleon. Sam rolled his eyes, but accepted it. The first sip was always the best as Ernie never knew exactly what to expect. This one was quite good. Definitely something tropical.
