The thing was, Harry needed to see Bill. He'd had the strangest, most exhilarating, most confusing month he'd maybe ever had, and the one overriding feeling, above the tumult inside him, was that he had to see Bill Weasley. He'd had a chance to tell Bill about making the Quidditch National team, but he'd not yet been back to see the object of his obsession after the games in Ukraine. Harry had actually had World Cup airtime, and it had been the most incredible thing.
There was also the thing with Michael Corner. The kiss, and its aftermath, and the reason that Harry had had to turn away from a smart, attractive man who was interested in him.
It all came down to Bill, and Harry didn't know exactly what he was going to say, only that he had to confront this... fixation he had on his friend before he could hope to move on. So, after work and after practice, and more importantly, after dinner, he Apparated to Bill's house and knocked on his door.
