Orla felt a bit silly, making sure she was dressed nicely for Roger to come over and inspect the house for renovations, but she couldn't help it. She remembered being an ickle first year, and just adoring him because he'd been offhandedly nice to her. She doubted he remembered her, but she wanted their new acquaintance to be a positive one. Even if she did trip and fall right in front of him.
She drank her morning coffee with some toast, wanting to have something in her stomach before he showed up. Sigmund meowed a question at her, and she said absently, "We're getitng a contractor's opinion on the house. Put in a few walls, doors. You know. More edges for you to rub against." Sigmund seemed to approve, as he butted his head against her ankle. She moved to set her plate in the sink, and scooped him up. "I think it will be fine. I mean, he's got a girlfriend, and I don't know the first think about him anymore. Shouldn't be nervous." Sigmund purred loudly, so loud she almost didn't hear the knock at the door.
She set him down and went to answer. Here went nothing.
