As far as Remus knew, there hadn't been an attack in the past few days. Of course, his teaching schedule was keeping him busier than he would have liked, as well as Gilen needing help in some of his classes. He understood the material just fine, it was the English that was sometimes getting in the way. The boy was doing the best he could, though, and that was all Remus could ask of him. Most importantly, Gilen was enjoying school and for what more could Remus ask?
That took care of Gilen.
Remus rolled over and looked at the man sleeping beside him. Six months later and they still had this rather odd living arrangement. That was, of course, due to the fact that his lover was a stubborn mule and had yet to try to clear his name. It hadn't bothered Remus much until the realisation had finally sunk in: if Severus had gotten worse, they couldn't have taken him to see a doctor. There would have been no one who could help. Though, he supposed with some fast talking, he could have secured Andromeda's help...
Still. It wasn't an ideal situation. And even if these attacks were a once a year thing, he couldn't take that chance. He simply couldn't.
Lightly, Remus kissed Severus' shoulder, looking the man over. "Prince," he half whispered/half spoke. "Are you awake?"
