"You get them for free." Sam said defiantly as Dean slid a Galleon across the surface of the bar.
"I'm addicted to these things and if I keep getting smoothies for free, I may be in big trouble." Dean moaned but still snatched the orange banana strawberry concoction from Sam. He took a long, satisfying sip before he smiled. "Okay, maybe this once but after that, I'm paying. You can tell your boss that too."
His cheeks hollowed while he took a singularly long slurp and then smacked his lips. This was his third one of the day and it was just noon but the damn drinks were the nectar of the Gods although he would be facing a serious addiction soon and he knew he'd need to stop...tomorrow. Now, he couldn't bear to be without the fruity fabulousness that was making his tummy so very happy.
"Ahh." He finishing his sip and put down the glass before he patted his stomach. His eyes took in the lobby and he was pleased to see the number of people here milling about the gym, lobby, and the dance studio. Dean knew he'd need to hire a few more people eventually but for right now, it was just satisfying to see that Hammerside was at least initially a success.
That tidbit combined with the thought that he'd confessed to Parvati that he loved her and hadn't been thrown out on his arse was gratifying. But even more so, she'd said that she loved him too and that made him even happier. Dean couldn't wait to see her tonight and even though he still worried about what would happen between them, they'd taken a big step together.
Dean found a stool at the bar and picked up his smoothie, taking another lazy sip before he regrettably found his cup was empty. After one last drink, he shook his glass as he leaned over the bar and smiled sheepishly. "Hey Sam. How about one more?"
