Seven o'clock found one Oliver Francis Wood standing outside Penny's apartment. He'd been nervous about this most of the day, though he was also very excited about this outing. Not long after leaving George's, he'd gotten another box unpacked- it didn't help that he kept getting distracted by the stuff he found- before jumping into the shower and finding some clothes that were a little nicer than the usual wrinkled jeans and a t-shirt that he wore more often. He'd eventually settled on a newer pair of jeans and a button up shirt in blue- his sister had gotten it for him for his last birthday, telling him it would look good on him- something about bringing out the color of his eyes. He didn't know whether it was true or not, but it was a comfortable shirt.
Anywho, there he was, seven o'clock. A small bouquet of mixed wildflowers were clutched in his hand- he'd found some nice ones in a small window garden on his balcony and picked a few, thinking it might be a nice gesture, if nothing else. He knocked and then stepped back, reaching up and trying to smooth down a bit of hair that kept sticking up on him. Unsuccessful, he gave a small sigh and shuffled his feet, waiting.
