Irma looked at the cover of the book, and opened it to page 173. "Oh, my," she murmured. She would probably need a warm-up of some kind in order to get her limbs to get in that position. Especially as she was no longer under 20.
She flipped to the beginning of the book. Now, this she supposed she could manage. Perhaps it was best to start methodologically at the beginning, and work one's way forward.
Dear Caradoc, I have received your book and am most grateful for it. Page 173 does look interesting indeed, but I am more inclined to start at the beginning as you suggested.
I am not sure even I would go as far as to make the attempt to categorize a leisure activity like this, but for future reference it would be useful to make a catalogue of what works and what doesn't. One might have special talents available, but I would hate to get into a position I would need outside help to get out of.
Caradoc chuckled as he read the reply Poindexter brought back from Irma. He had been teasing about cataloging their preferences, but he didn't have any objections to the idea. If he did, he never would have teased her. Caradoc hadn't figured out yet if she took most of the things he said literally as her way of teasing him back, or if she hadn't quite caught on that he was teasing. He suspected the former

I have to admit that it does sound interesting. An event in Stoatshead Hill where one actually has to dress up? I'm sure it is a first, if you don't count the odious place with the noise they try to pass off as music. I would gladly accompany you both to Oxford, and to the arrangement in the evening.
