'Bloody hell!' Ginny cursed silently as she returned to the reception desk to find another stack of patient folders waiting for her to review and sign off on. It'd been so long since she'd been called in for an On Call shift that Ginny'd nearly forgotten how dull the afternoon shift could be, all paperwork and scraped knees.
Pushing another five files into the "To Be Filed" box, she picked up the next one and idly glanced at the name. 'Macmillan' Ginny thought, the name ringing bells and then she remembered the young wizard from school, seeing him years later during her residency and flipped the folder open with curious interest. 'Surely it can't be the same bloke.' But there is was, the very same wizard and her gaze dropped to the follow-up schedule.
She heard the door being pushed open as she read the date and time, realizing with surprise that it was... Ginny looked up and chuckled, seeing the wizard himself stepping in the front door and she tucked the file under her arm as she crossed the floor.
"Ernie? I see you still have your talent for finding trouble." Ginny smiled, holding out her hand to him in greeting. "It's good to see you."
