This work wasn't too hard at all. Good money for what he was doing. Hopefully the Rabastan bloke (he'd decided he preferred to think of him like that, rather than as 'Lestrange', which had far too many connotations he didn't like) would have other work for him in the future.
The elves were fairly well behaved. A few times an hour he had to direct them away from their compulsions to clean spills that didn't need cleaning just now and go and do things more important, and once he had to break up a cluster of them fussing over a child with a grazed knee, but all in all they were good workers.
He didn't know much about the art stuff, and some of the things he overheard as he moved around the background made him think they were all a bunch of snobs, but some of it was interesting, too. Those girls in the Inidian clothes had been good, for a start.
Mostly he kept out of people's way and kept an eye on the elves. better than people, that was for sure - not layabouts like so many of the sods he'd worked on the docks with. He'd forgotten that elves were like that.
