Date: August 8, 2005 Character(s): Luna Lovegood, Anthony Goldstein Location: Hospital Status: Private Summary: Luna and Anthony meet to talk about rebuilding the hospital. Completion: InComplete
Luna glanced up just as Anthony walked over and smiled. "Yes, that's me; hello Anthony."
She got to her feet and held out a hand. "How are you? I hope you found the place alright, as I've realised I didn't add directions in my owl," she added with a wry smile.
Luna nodded and smiled. "Tony," she corrected, shaking Anthony's hand. "And no, you're right on time."
She grinned. "It's definitely good to know where the hospital is, just in case," she agreed, and glanced down at Anthony's portfolio as he mentioned taking notes. "No, of course I don't mind," she said, and lifted her own clipboard. "I've taken a few notes of what I wanted to point out, myself."
Gesturing around the waiting area, she smiled slightly. "You might have already noticed the windows. They're intact, of course, but only magically. They could stand to be replaced, I think. It's the same for most of the building, actually." She looked around again before she began to move out of the waiting area. "Shall we take look around rest of the ground floor?"
"Yes, I suppose they do," she said with a smile at Tony's wink. "I was, yes. A few years behind you, if I remember correctly. I remember you, a bit, from the DA."
Luna smiled and led him back into the area that held the examination rooms. "I suppose I should ask you before we continue the walkthrough -- I know that your company mainly specialises in large-scale jobs like the one we need for the new building. What's the extent of the renovation work you'd be able to do for this building? For instance, we'd want to update the ceiling tile in these areas, and we have some flooring issues, as you can see. There's nothing majorly structural that we'd need for this part beyond erecting some walls upstairs to partition some extra rooms. Is that alright?"
"They aren't bad memories," she said simply, and smiled slightly. "We didn't really know each other; I just remember seeing you around. There's nothing wrong with being in the books. It's a rather nice place to be, actually. I hope you didn't spend all of your time there, though
( ... )
"That's a good way to look at it," she said with a grin.
"Actually, the commitee's planning to have administrative offices, kitchens, laboratories and outpatient care in the new building," Luna said. "Do you think that's a good option, or would it be better the other way around?" She took her clipboard out and jotted down a few notes. "Anything you recommend as a professional would be seriously considered. It certainly doesn't do to waste space."
She looked up and returned Anthony's smile. "We shall," she replied, and led Tony downstairs to the potions lab.
