"Mummy, look, Bob looks like she's gonna go POP!" Ben said, pointing at Bob, whose stomach had grown exponentially larger in the past few days. "Does that mean she's gonna have her puppies soon?"
They were waiting for Terry to come get Ben for their night together, and Ben was his usual ball of energy.
"Yes, Bob should be having her puppies very soon," Megan told him just as there was a knock at the door.
"Daddy!" Ben shouted, running to the door to open it. "Daddy, Bob's gonna have her puppies soon!" he said as soon as Terry stepped through.
"Ben, let Daddy come in before you start shouting at him," Megan admonished gently. "Hello Terry," she said, giving him a small smile. "How have you been?"
