Mandykins,

Ben and I miss you horribly. It's just not the same around here without you. Imagine my surprise when it's laundry day I'm not missing several shirts. I've always wondered how you'd nicked them without me knowing, but I suppose it's something I can live without. After all, I wouldn't want you to be without a Terry-hug for too terribly long.

Yes, the tadpoles fared well, and only a couple escaped. We released all but one of them in a pond near the flat. With the last one I enchanted the aquarium to simulate a live pond area, so we have a small frog pond in the bathroom. The croaking only keeps me up if I forget a silencing charm. I think we'll let it go soon, there's only so many more times I can expand the habitat before it becomes unstable.

America, or rather Canada actually, sounds interesting. In Florida all we saw was Disney World, from which I gathered that it's almost a whole separate country there. I hope you're taking loads of pictures, I know Ben would love to see what you've been up to. (And I wouldn't mind looking at the fauna. Perhaps there's something there that isn't readily available in England, that would be helpful for work. And look I've gone on about work when I was determined not to.)

Ben's included a message at the bottom, which I had to include or else he would find out I didn't and I'd be in big trouble. He did some of the writing himself, so be sure to praise him on that when you return. He's very proud. But, to warn you as to what's coming, I told Ben about Blaise, and this was his response. Please, please don't tell Blaise exactly what Ben tells you. I would never live it down in a million years.

DADDY SAYS YOU'RE IN CANADA. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THAT IS BUT I BET IT'S FUN AND ARE THERE PIRATES? I BET THERE ARE PIRATES. AND DID YOU KNOW THAT BLAISE IS DADDY'S BOYFRIEND? THAT MEANS THEY KISS AND STUFFS. I ASKED WHY I COULDN'T TELL ANYONE, 'CEPT YOU AND AUNTIE LISA AND OTHER FAMILY PEOPLE, AND DADDY SAYS IT WAS CUZ BLAISE IS OUR TREASURE AND IF WE TELL SOMEONE WILL TRY TO STEAL HIM! IF SOMEONE TRIES TO STEAL OUR BLAISE, WILL YOU HELP DADDY AND ME GET HIM BACK? CUZ HE'S OUR TREASURE, AND NO ONE CAN HAVE HIM BUT US. OH, AND THANK YOU FOR THE TADPOLES. I KEPT ONE FROG AND CALLED HIM FROGGER. HE'S A VERY GOOD HOPPER. I MISSES YOU LOTS AND LOTS AND I LOVE YOU LOTS AND LOTS TOO. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL YOU COMES HOME.
