RP: To the victors belong the spoils

Summary: The racers and the people whose bonnet they captured have their own picnics around the Quidditch pitch (or elsewhere if they wish)

Today was probably the most exciting day since Arabella had arrived in Stoatshead Hill in February. If anything could make her feel a part of Wizarding society, despite being a Squib, it was a day devoted to Quidditch. Caradoc had apparently been involved in setting up several activities and he had participated in the Bonnet, Bandanna, Basket and Broom race. It was a clever idea, she thought, having some people bring a basket containing a picnic lunch, others flying an obstacle course (a fairly difficult one, she thought) and grabbing someone's "bonnet" at the finish line. After the race the two people would have a picnic featuring the contents of the basket. Perhaps it would help some people make new friends...or more. Ah, youth, she thought, watching the race. Caradoc was apparently the oldest person in the race, but you wouldn't have known by the intensity he displayed while flying.
When the race was over and the winner was declared, Arabella called out to the basket-bringers, "All right, everyone who brought a basket and hung up a bonnet or a bandanna, please come forward so you can meet the person who retrieved your hat!"
