The grass was still wet with dew, when Alicia arrived at the Quidditch Pitch with Bert. She and Oliver had agreed to meet here to figure out the more practical aspects of the Quidditch event, and being at the pitch simply made it easier to plan out. After their trip to Prague, things were beginning to roll for real, and had been picking up speed by the day, so the chance to spend a day away from the papers and be outside instead, was a welcomed change of pace.
“Bert!” she called out and followed it up with a couple of squeaky sounds from her lips, and the small dog immediately came bouncing towards her through the high grass. “That’s a good boy,” she cooed and ruffled his fur, before she tossed his purple chew toy as far as she could, before she jogged after the dog as he sped off to find his precious toy. The run to get here had been fine, but until Oliver showed up, she might as well get as much under the belt as she possibly could.
