Connie had taken extra time this morning when she opened the shoppe to make sure it was tidy and all the items on the shelves were organized in proper rows. Maybe it was silly, but she really wanted to impress Tony with how it had turned out since he had been such a help with getting the shoppe started.
She'd taken a little extra time getting dressed as well, although she wouldn't admit it. She'd pulled on jeans and a pink button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, but she did take the time to dry her hair instead of pulling it back, as well as adding a touch more makeup than a normal morning. It was just to look as well as the shoppe, she rationalized, levitating some cauldrons into a display window.
Checking her watch, she wondered what time he meant by lunch.
