"Yeah, I am," he agreed. "Completely lazy about that. More hands on, I suppose."

He grinned. "Yoga's this Muggle activity that's supposed to be all relaxing and shite. People move their legs above their heads and do all sorts of odd positions, supposed to make you limber," he explained. "And that's a fucking awful description."

At Zach's question, he stopped working and thought about it. "Well, off the top of my head, I'm thinking we could definitely use classes for things like household charms or common healing, the things a lot of younger people missed learning, and then some more universal offerings, like art or cooking with charms. That sort of thing. It'll really depend on volunteers and ideas, though, because a lot of what makes a centre work is community involvement, from what I can tell."

When Zach choked, he smiled smugly and winked at him. "Better to be a smart arse than a dumb arse," he pointed out. "Besides, takes one to know one, darling. And I believe that warning about my lips was only valid for that particular meeting. This is a new da---meeting, so, yeah, new rules."

"Being hands on is not a bad thing," he said, averting his eyes. "At all." Tipping his bottle up he took a few more gulps before looking back at Wayne.

"I think I will steer clear of yoga then. It doesn't sound relaxing at all. Sounds like it would be painful. I'm not really into pain."

"You know, you shouldn't have trouble getting volunteers. It seems to me as if everyone is ready for a new start, and most would be willing to donate a few hours here and there to make sure that the community gets on its feet. What about having local healers donate their time for people who aren't getting proper care? And if you open it up for local businesses to have meetings there, to use the center for their parties, or fund raising, they'd likely help support it."

Zach stopped with the bottle halfway to his mouth. Wayne had almost said 'date.' Was this a date? He wasn't sure... he'd always thought of dating as going out somewhere, being overly polite, making small talk, and then getting an awkward goodnight kiss at the end of the night.

He remembered the kiss he'd received on Saturday and took a deep breath to help focus himself on the conversation at hand.

"Yeah? And just who's making up these rules?" he asked, grinning. "I don't remember, and please correct me if I'm wrong, ever stating that that warning only held for that particular day."

"Neither am I," Wayne said firmly. "Pain doesn't interest me, especially not when pleasure feels so much better."

He smiled. "Oh, I'm really not that concerned. I mean, it's still pretty early to even start worrying about volunteers and stuff. I'll save that until the renovations are nearly done and it feels like there's still a dozen things to get done," he said. "And, yeah, that's a good idea about the parties and stuff. I think most people go to the hospital for care, since it's set up, even if they're needing a better structure. Friend of mine, Luna, works there and was saying that they're going to start getting a better space soon."

After his near slip, he busied himself with finishing the sauce. He couldn't believe he'd nearly called it a date. This was just dinner between friends, mates hanging out having dinner, and all those non-snogging-against-a-wall type names.

When Zach just ignored it, he was relieved. Maybe he'd not noticed. "We're making up these rules," he said, putting the sauce on to cook before picking up his ale and taking a drink. "My rule is that the warning only held for that particular day. After all, could be a time in the future when you'd be wanting me to lick my lips, yeah?"

"Food's on to cook now," he told Zach as he leaned against the counter opposite him, moving his eyes from bare feet up to wet hair before meeting Zach's eyes. "We've got about ten minutes, maybe. Not sure about the sauce, but I'll keep an eye on it."

"Luna? Luna Lovegood? I remember her. Vividly." He chuckled. "She certainly could make an impression. How is she doing? Well, I hope."

He watched as Wayne tossed everything together in the pan, half amazed that nothing was exploding. It would be if he'd been the one attempting it. "Where'd you learn to cook, anyway? I can't seem to boil water without injuring myself."

Grinning, he took another swig of his ale. "Does that mean that I get to make up rules as well? How about... I think you should wear ties more often. You look fucking fantastic in them." A pause. "And yeah, could be."

He could feel the heat from Wayne's stare as his eyes moved up his body and he had to consciously fight the urge to fidget. The blush, however, was out of his hands. He ran his hand through his hair, untangling a few more snags, and smiled at Wayne. "I'm glad you're here."

"Yeah, that's her. I met her at a party that Ernie had recently, then ran into her at the pub. She's pretty awesome," he said with a grin. "Unique views are always great to find in this world. And she seems to be doing pretty well, working as a mediwitch."

He laughed. "You're seeing about the extent of my abilities," he confessed. "Give me something for the microwave or that requires heating, and I'm great. Otherwise, it's pasta and a few types of sauces with a random dish here and there. Picked it up cause I lived on my own and got tired of takeaway, honestly."

"Sure, you can make up rules," he said, glancing at Zach when he mentioned his tie. "Do I? It's funny because I used to hate these suits when I had to wear them daily, but now I seem to wear them out of habit. I'll remember your fondness for ties, though."

Zach dragged his fingers through his hair, which just drew attention to the long, damp locks that caused Wayne to curl his fingers into his palm so he'd not touch. Especially when there was that blush and the shy look that fucking confused him.

"Yeah, I'm glad I'm here, too," he murmured before he took another drink, needing something to do with his hands.

"Mediwitch, wow. That's impressive. I'd not have the patience to study that long or that hard. Nor the brainpower."

"You know, I'm damn tired of takeaway, but I still can't be arsed to learn to cook. I've been burned too many times. Quite literally," he said, grinning.

"You do." Zach nodded. "I like ties on other people. Fucking hate wearing them though. Feels like I'm being strangled." The tie hie was wearing looked soft, sleek, and Wayne looked comfortable in the clothes. And entirely sexy.

"Good," Zach said simply, looking down at his ale. "I do appreciate you coming over to cook, me being helpless in the kitchen and all. But, I seem to remember you promising me that dancing would be included with the cooking." He looked up through his eyelashes and smiled, biting his bottom lip to keep from chuckling.
