When he got to the Five Alarm, he saw Adrian sitting alone at a table in the back.
"Hey, mate," he said, walking up to the table and pulling out a chair.
"Have you ordered yet?"

A small smile tugged at her lips as she watched Adrian, tempted to sit down and chat but knowing she was working. "Sorry about the reply, by the way. I was still a little drunk this morning and I'm pretty sure I made absolutely no sense."

He wanted to speak this time, but didn't know what to say and just as he thought his face must be purple without oxygen because he'd forgotten how to breathe, she mentioned his letter of that morning. He swallowed and apologized, "I hope it wasn't too forward, my writing, but I did want to apologize. Sometimes I think I should take my cue from Flint here more often and just not use so much talk - so many words, I meant, so many words." And he laughed nervously and wanted to melt into his seat. What was it about this chit that got him so tongue tied?

Marcus, amused at Adrian's poking at him and wanting to let Adrian look good in front of the Gryffindor, laughed out loud.
"Nervous, Pucey?"

"Who's up for a round of drinks then, shall I go to the bar?"

Catching the tail end of Adrian's question, she shook her head. "No need to. And yes," she said before any of them could ask. "I can join you for dinner if you want?" she asked, not waiting for an answer before pulling up a chair.
"So, what were you talking about in my absence?" she asked, opening the bottle and pouring the alcohol into the glasses. If they wanted to drink, they'd have to have Alicia Spinnet-sized measures which happened to be extremely generous.

He watched her poor the four glasses and looked to Marcus for some sort of help, "Well then, this isn't going to be a shooters sort of evening, is it? Bottoms up?" He took a glass and held it up in the center of the table in a toast. He looked to Alicia with a smile still on his face, though this one was a bit more subtle, "to new beginnings?"

Unfortunately, he failed.
Fortunately, he managed not to spray the rest of the table.
Coughing, he said, "Yes, the pasta will be fine."

"Pasta for me as well." She looked at the waitress wondering if she was even paying attention.

She heard him mumble and she could tell he was most likely blushing. So it wasn't a genuine grope then - thankfully.
She barely heard the others ordering pasta as well, as she reassured the guy. "No harm done," she said with somethink akin to a giggle and a warm hand on his shoulder to balance herself. "Bound to happen sooner or later," she offered, patting him on the shoulder again.
No doubt his friends would give him the ribbing of a lifetime about that. "I'll be back with that whiskey and four pastas," she offered, smirking and shaking her head as she headed back to the bar.

"Another of your moves?" she asked Adrian, trying to keep it light and managing for the most part.
Swallowing her whiskey in one large gulp, she reached for the bottle to top-up the glasses as they all seemed pretty empty.
