Minerva had been expecting Pomona. This was almost the last 'interview' (largely a formality in Pomona's case) that she had to do in order to have her staff in order. There was still Mr. Zabini to speak with, but that would be it.

When the knock came, Minerva pulled her wand to open the door for Pomona. "Come in, come in. I'm just putting in the bags to steep. Would you like scones or bread from Miss Frobisher's shop? I confess, I have a bit of the nibbles."

"Good afternoon, Minerva," Pomona said with a smile as she made her way into the house. "Willa says hello, and scones would be lovely."

Once she'd taken a seat on the sofa, Pomona wrestled with weather to come right out with it, or make a bit of small talk first. "So, how are the plans for the school coming along, Minerva?" There would be time for small talk later, and Pomona was eager to hear what was being done to make sure that they could start educating the children properly again.

Minerva grinned and swished over a scone. "Here you go. And the plans for the school are progressing. The problem is that we seem to be missing Herbology professor." Her grin was mischievous. "I don't suppose you know where one might be lurking?"

Pomona chuckled and bit into her scone, pretending to think about Minerva's question as she chewed. "I might know of a qualified individual," she said before smiling. "You know I'd love to be teaching again. Just let me know when the first day of school is. Of course, I am hoping that I can be of some use before then. I have started growing a few things already. Unfortunately, I've not had a chance to grow most of the magical varieties. Have you had a chance to speak with Miss Abbot and Mr. Logbottom about contributing plants for the school yet? If you've not, I would like to be there when you do."

Pomona would have been happy to take on the task herself, as she was quite eager to see her former students, but she'd not step on anyones toes.
