RP: Fixing a Hole Where the Rain Gets In

Harry had been by the school a couple of times, and Remus' directions to help get him back there were very clear. Harry was looking forward to spending some time with his former mentor, under the pretense of offering building advice or otherwise. It felt really good to have Remus more permanently in his life these days. He'd always wanted to be closer to Remus but they'd never had the opportunity, apart from Dementor Defense Lessons back in third year. This was the first time in a decade Harry had had the chance to really get to know Remus, and to see him more than once or twice a year.
He'd packed something of a picnic lunch, or rather a picnic snack as it was mid-afternoon. Though feeling a little foolish holding a large wicker basket filled with home made scones and muffins and tea things spelled not to break, he thought Remus would appreciate the gesture. Basket slung over one arm and Cocoa's leash in the other-- the puppy was maturing and sort of starting to heel-- he made his way up to the school.
