Rabastan typically set aside Friday afternoons for paperwork and local business, so it had been no problem when Miss Patil asked for an interview on Friday instead of Thursday. He and his Business Agent Elizabeth Garner had met after lunch and had been discussing options for offices for the Lestrange Family to conduct business from.
With Elizabeth and Draco's assistance and his own hard work, Rabastan had the family portfolio well on its way. He thought it likely that he'd only have Draco for a year or two at most, as the young man would most likely want to build his own fortune as soon as he had enough of a portfolio of his own build up. Of course, Rabastan was no fool. He knew Draco may stay as long as he could tolerate working for someone else as the incentives the Lestrange Family offered were substantial and extremely lucrative for a talented individual, of which Draco was certainly one. It was one of the reasons Rabastan paid as well as he did. He was wanted the caliber of people he had and was willing to make it worth their while to work for him. Perhaps today, he'd find another talented person to add to the staff.
Leaving Elizabeth to finish straightening their work in the study, he went to the kitchen to prepare the red tea for Miss Patil's arrival at 2 o'clock.
