Dean was excited. He'd had a good week because he was drawing again which made him feel a hell of alot better. He had an appointment tomorrow to see Cedric in the morning and he was going to spend Saturday with Luna which was brilliant.
So, he thought he was a little giddy and that's why he found himself lying in bed, staring at the ceiling. He had tried to sleep but all he had done was toss and turn. When he finally gave up and sat on the edge of the bed, Dean realized what he wanted to do tonight. He looked at the clock and saw it was late but he got up and threw on some clothes anyway. Before he knew it, he found himself out of his flat and walking along a path that he knew very well.
"Just one drink," Dean muttered, shoving his hands in the pockets of his trousers as he made his way over to the Five Alarm. He knew he didn't really want an ale or three. What he wanted to do was see Seamus and talk since they hadn't done that in a while but a few pints wouldn't hurt at all either.
After the short walk, he reached the pub and pushed open the door, looking immediately toward the bar. It didn't seem too busy, so when Dean saw the familiar blonde mop of his friend, he grinned since they might be able to spend some time together. He walked over to the bar and found himself a stool.
"Seamus, best mate of mine, how about you pour me a pint?" Dean leaned over the bar to call out to his mate. He smiled because he knew his earlier declaration of just one ale was bullshite. He shook his head and wondered if Cedric would notice his hangover tomorrow.
