OWL: Gilderoy to Lee

It had taken him longer than he expected, but Gilderoy finally finished attaching the last of the 12 meters of black braid trim to the robe. Simple, for the most part plain charcoal gray with brown fibers woven in. Lined in a deep ochre with black braid trim and brushed silver buttons.
The robe, itself was quite lovely. Of course, the reason Knobby was “oohing” and “Aahing” at it was more in regards to the size rather than the remarkable workmanship.
“Yes, Knobby, he really is that tall. Don’t you remember? We had tea iwth him.”
“Yes, Master Gilderoy, but Knobby forgets how tall he is with all of our other visitors and the work!” She went back to her stool and climbed up on the table so she could trace out some more pattern pieces.
“I’m going upstairs to owl Mr. Jordan and let him know his robes are ready,” Gilderoy said cheerfully.
He ran up the stairs and brought out a piece of parchment and pencil.
Mr. Jordan,
Thank you very much for your patronage. I wish to inform you that your robes have been finished, and the last step will be for you to come into the shop to try them on, and have the final adjustments made to them.
I believe that the cut, colors, and pattern will be quite flattering on you.
