RP: The Loft

After saying hello to Molly and Bill (and teasing Ron a little about his cooking), Hermione went upstairs to change. She knew that her plans for the evening would require salvaging whatever she could find that fit her general idea for the reading slash club room at Bookworm, which meant snooping through abandoned properties and procuring whatever hadn't already been taken. The very idea of a jumble of mish mash furniture made her head hurt, but Ron had a fondness for such things, so she was going to do her best not to be too anal. They had discussed him having a chess club in the room once she ever got it done, but he'd probably forgotten since time had slipped past.
However, she'd been secretly surveying the attic space to convert it into a nice loft area for patrons to relax and read for a time, or for his game club. She would still like to eventually set up some sort of coffee and pastry type thing, but it was further down her list for the time being. Right now, the priority was just getting it comfortable for reading club and chess club.
Once she was changed into faded denims and an old shirt, she Apparated to Roger's cottage. When they'd made plans to get together tonight, she'd not mentioned her intentions to salvage for furniture, but she doubted he'd mind going with her. She had mentioned Ron's birthday present, but had still been working out various details in her head at that time. She smiled as she walked up the steps of his deck and knocked, excited to see him.
