Connie smiled as he brushed the hair behind her ear. "Hi, stranger," she replied. "All set."
"I checked out Exeter the other day - there's a hardware store there, though it's smallish. Do you want to start there and go to London if we can't find everything, or just head straight to London?" she asked.
"There are definitely better ways to tire me out," she said to Tony with a wink.
Connie grinned as their foreheads touched and apparated the both of them to a small alleyway in Exeter. "It's not too far from here - just a block or two north," she said.
Connie laughed, rolling her eyes at his joke. "I stumbled on this place when I was wandering around here a month or two ago - it's really tiny, but the food is amazing."
She sobered slightly at Tony's mention of the hurricane. "That's too bad. Maybe they eventually will rebuild," she said optimistically.
It was only a few blocks to the retauraunt - The Magic Wok - and Connie smiled. "Here we are. Though I'll spare you my bad jokes about magic and woks," she added wth a laugh.
She took a seat, passing Tony one of the paper menus. "Well, I love the lo mein, but the Zodiac noodles are good if you like spicy, and kung pao anything is good too. Oh! and the dumplings are good too," she added, smiling. "Can you tell I eat here too much?"
She pulled a rubber band out of her purse and began folding a napkin into a small square. Placing it between the chopsticks, she wrapped the rubber band around it all, creating a spring for the chopsticks and an easier way to handle them. "Funny though, I still can't manage chopsticks," she said with a grin and a shrug of her shoulders.
