RP: Checking on a patient

Summary: A very hung over Ginny runs into Rabastan.

Ginny had a disorienting afternoon, waking at Anthony's in a panic only to read his note. Leaving a brief, apologetic note of her own, the young witch disapparated home in a hurry, unwilling to have any conversations of what she might have been thinking the previous evening.
A shower and change of clothes felt better and Ginny decided she felt up to reviewing the weeks case files despite the absolutely blinding pain whenever she even coughed. The first file on top was that of the Carters, the gas poison victims, and Ginny dimly remembered the Death Eater had said they were without the father. It only took her a minute to pull together a few sacks of potatoes and three roasts placed in statis. Tucking the lot into a basket, she headed out to do a house-call, using the excuse of checking on the kids to leave off the basket.
She'd surprised the older woman but had been invited in straight away, wincing at the children's loud cries of happiness to see her, hugging her tightly as Ginny grimaced and hugged them back. A cursory check found them in good health and she took the time to check their growth patterns while she was there, setting up a follow-up for Mrs. Carter later in the week.
Heading back out to the road, Ginny crossed the road, rubbing her forehead in agony as she made her way down River to 4th, glancing over at the low lying stone wall at the old stone church as she walked. Seeing a small cat-like animal bounding around the church yard, she stopped and immediately regretted having done so as she saw the wizard who followed the animal.
