Bill watched an owl circle over his head then land on his shoulder with a wince. His shoulder was still a bit tender but also those talons were sharp. He could've sworn that the owl had dug into them just that much harder.

When he read the terse note he knew why. Even though it was signed with a mere S Bill would've recognized that jagged abrupt handwriting anywhere from heavily edited Hogwarts essays.

He hobbled back inside and sat at his desk to respond.

Professor,

I am unfortunately unavailable tomorrow but I am available after Monday. I live at the corner of Lovegood and South or we can meet elsewhere if you feel more comfortable in a neutral location.

Severus scowled. The rest of the week would hardly work well for him, and this had to be done soon. He was not about to rearrange his schedule or abandon Susan to the tasks of the farm just because Weasley's social calendar was full, however.
