The owl tapped on her window as she set the status charm on dinner, glancing at the clock as she opened it and smiled curiously at the strange owl. Taking the offered scroll from it, she tossed it a treat and bade it wait.

Lee!

It's great to see you've found an owl, finally. He seems like a good little guy but I agree, you can't give up on hassling the twins - you know they wouldn't know what to do with themselves if you did.

I've got nothing planned for Sunday if that suits you. A relaxing evening at the Five Alarm with an old friend sounds pretty nice to me. How's six o'clock for you?

Lee felt a smile pull at his lips as he saw his owl coming with a scroll tied to its leg. He was glad to see Ginny's reply so soon, and grabbed for it before the owl had situated itself properly. It hooted at him, indignant.

Lee chuckled and rubbed at his knuckle, feeling his father's ring as he massaged his hand, and rubbed the spot where the owl had nipped him a bit too hard. He eyed the owl with amusement. Lee left the kitchen area and walked over to the couch and fell back into it before opening the scroll to see Ginny's familiar writing.

He laughed at her reply and searched his pockets for a pencil. Turning his head to the side table, he spotted one leaning against the lamp's base. He reached over and picked it up with his thumb and forefinger.

Turning over the parchment, Lee decided to write her back immediately.

Sunday evening sounds great! I can't wait. Six o'clock at the Five Alarm - confirmed. I'll see you there!
