Completion: Incomplete

Blaise had arrived at the library half an hour prior to his meeting with Davies. Once this meeting was over he had plans to spend the rest of the day in the building finalising his plans in order to get them just right for submission to the council that weekend.

He was starting to feel a tad nervous, not that he’d let the fact on. But there was the possibility that the council would turn down his proposal or not approve of his vision. It was definitely different and perhaps a tad too much of a leap forward for the wizarding world, but Blaise was pleased with it and confident in its potential for success. Besides no one had seemed to have problems with Cedric’s museum plans and there ideas were not too dissimilar.

The library would preserve culture, make a statement about unity, encourage learning (hopefully), and provide a place to bring the community together. If all went well this would be the thing that made his name and put him in a position of more note. It would be something that he could use as a foundation for any of his future plans. Something sturdy. It didn’t hurt that besides his ambition to become a little more revered and a tad more respected, to get past the Slytherin label he had been stuck with after school, he was passionate about this project. It was his pet and he wanted it to be a success.

Blaise leant on the old counter and started to arrange some of the plans and information he had brought with him for Davies to see. He took a deep breath and smirked. If all went well soon he would be able to start renovation and he was looking forward to seeing the library transformed.
