It had been a productive morning. Lee had started to work today, which meant Hermione had given him enough to keep him busy for several days. There were lists all over the place, but she really needed to sit down and focus on figuring out the best plan for the most productivity. Ron had taken an odd job or two, so it was just her and Lee for the moment. Hopefully, if things went according to plan, the printing press would be moved in the next couple of days and they could get started with the publishing even while the bookstore needed a lot more work ( ... )

"Hi. I am bring hot food, this time. Is chicken, rice. I hope you are like." He looked around. "Are you do all dis work by self?" He could see at least five lists from where he was standing, tacked to walls and on flat surfaces. They had items crossed off, but not all the same, so it wasn't as though they were just all copies of the same one for convenience. "You are stay very busy, which I am expect, but I am hope, you have your boy help you. Boy-s. Maire is tell me, I am bad for say same, one or two. Is make ...I am not knowing word, but den, neither is small daughter, word for when I am know I am not always very excellent, is make dat, for have her fix speaking."

He followed her into the kitchen and held out his basket. "Where to make all--" he gestured spread out and nodded toward the least cluttered counter. "Dis is o. k.?" He set the basket down and got out plates and served them: rice, chicken, and half a loaf of bread he sliced hurriedly with his wand.

"Chicken and rice sounds wonderful," she said. She gave him a quick hug and smiled. "Next time, you know, it's my turn to provide food."

She looked around and nodded. "All of this, yes. We've hired someone to help with things, though. He's just having lunch right now, too. Ron will help when he can, but he's working an odd job or two for barter right now," she explained. "Once we get the press here, he'll start printing things. Most of these are notes to myself and things that I really should do myself."

"Humble?" she suggested. "How is Maire? Since she's not with you today, I assume that means she's with her mum?"

Hermione nodded. "Yes, that's fine. I can help," she offered, but he shook his head and did it himself. She went to the refrigerator and got a bottle of juice out. "I have juice or water, or I can make tea or coffee, if you'd rather have one of those."

Viktor returned the hug one-handed, not wanting to suffocate; she'd been quite unwilling to touch, before. "Humble is mean that? Then yes. Is I am humble because. And, yes she is with mother." He scowled for a moment. "I am maybe over- ...over-carefully? with put charm on her hair-holder, for in case she is not bringing back at time. But I am not try to take all of her, only what is need. After bad day with Declan, I am not trust."

He looked into her refrigerator. "Juice is good."

They sat at the end of the table not covered in lists and files. "So, you are bring press, and this is for making book? Book-s. Is usual? With make and sell both, at same building?"

Hermione smiled and finished her lunch. "No, I don't need any more bread, but thank you," she said.

"I'm not sure what exactly Harry plans to cook," she admitted. "Perhaps baked goods and meals. He's not yet decided, I don't think. And, yes, it's a good size kitchen for cooking."

She stood up. "Well, let's get started on the tour, if you like," she said. She led him back into the sitting room and motioned to the dining room, where the walls were now gone. "This is going to be the main bookstore area."

Viktor looked around. "You are taking out wall-s, so it is one big room, but then, will you make ...parts? A part with book about magic, or a part with book with cooking?" He tilted his head suddenly, curious. "You are selling them, which are both old and new, yes? They are some books which someone has already been use, and some which are not? This is making complicated task, Hermione. You are making big job for you. I am not criticize, only, you are ready for big job?"

"Yes, there will be sections for each genre. That is, styles of books. Um, Charms here and Muggle fiction there, like that," she explained.

"We'll be selling old books and new ones, right," she confirmed. "We'll be printing new ones downstairs, actually, with our new publishing company. Ron and I have both learned how to print them, and we'll probably teach our new employee how to print, too, just so we have someone to back us up."

She smiled. "I know it's a big job, and it's even more involved than I originally thought, but it keeps me busy and I'm happy having something to do. I've got some help, too, which makes it easier. Thank you for being concerned, though."

"I just think, you are just end other very big job. I am take ...retiring, and I have career which, it is be physical, and I am have to pay attention and use thinking, but is not so much difficult as you have from very young. But, if you are say is handling," he added, "I am believe."

"You say you have a help? With heavy work? Because I am good at spells that are moving: fly, one which I am not know English which is lift and move this thing, apparate... If sometimes you have more doing than is having people to make." He grinned. "Also, I am shut up now about you have too much. I am usually not so many word-s, but you are understand very many, so I am say, very many."
