Blaise moved quietly up the stairs in Copper Towers to Lavender’s floor. He had paused for a moment outside Terry’s door and considered the way the wizard had reacted to him at the meeting, Friday, before moving on. Terry had looked hurt. No doubt Theo’s doing, Blaise thought through narrowed eyes, though the fact he was hurt was positive in its own way. Blaise had found himself regretting the offer to share the wizard with Theo in the past few weeks. Even more so now. In fact, there was a lot he was considering when it came to Theo ( ... )

Lavender smiled brightly at Blaise as she opened the door. "Hi." She cast a quick eye over him, almost giving a half-nod of approval. He looked good - although she couldn't really expect anything less - but the fact that she knew what was beneath his clothes almost made it better.

"It's good to see you," she said, leaning up to kiss his cheek in greeting. Perhaps the only way to tell whether this was worth pursuing or if she should concentrate on whatever her relationship was with Ron was to test this out and see where it took her. Of course, Blaise had no need to know about Ron, nor Ron about Blaise. "Did you want to come in? Or shall I just grab my cloak?"

Blaise raised an eye at Lavender’s appraisal of him, but returned it with one of his own, followed by a smile as she leant in. He kissed her cheek in return, but didn’t risk anything more except to place his hand on the small of her back and press her closer for a moment.

She was dressed well, Blaise thought. Practical for the weather, but sexy none the less, and he let his gaze drift down to her boots once more as he stepped back.

“I think, perhaps, that you should get your cloak before I’m tempted to change the location of our dinner once more,” he replied slowly, allowing his lips to curl playfully before moving a little closer once more to whisper. “My memories didn’t do you justice, I think. You look lovely.”

He even smelled good, Lavender noted as he moved forward. "Thank you," she said softly, blushing a little at the compliment. She'd been a little nervous about her outfit, going through several combinations of clothes before deciding on this selection. "I'll just be a moment," she assured him before ducking back into her flat and grabbing her winter-weight cloak from the hook.

Locking the door behind her, Lavender smiled, pulling her cloak over her shoulders and fastening it. "So where are we going for this picnic?"

Blaise chuckled at her braveness. “I think I can see why you were sorted into Gryffindor now. I can assure you that I’m up to any challenge you wish to set me. The question is do you think you can keep up with mine? For I intend to set my own also.”

He slipped his arms around her once more, and began to concentrate on a spot near the cottage garden he had found. “Okay, on the count of three. One,” he said, followed by a kiss to Lavender’s forehead. “Two.” A kiss to the tip of her nose. “Three…”

"Hmm. A lioness to the core, I should hope." Lavender grinned.

As Blaise wrapped his arms around her, preparing for the Apparation, Lavender relaxed, knowing that would make it easier. A slightly uncomfortable squeeze later and Blaise had taken her to the other side of the town, the word 'three' still in her ears. "Three," she murmured in agreement, tilting her head up to kiss his lips briefly.

Blaise allowed the kiss to remain brief, not wanting to give too much away or distract Lavender too quickly by allowing it to deepen any further. He liked a long seduction and whilst there wasn’t quite the uncertainty of where the evening would end as there was the last time they had met, he never liked to take anything for granted. There was still a type of a chase, just a little different with a new set of rules, and Lavender was playing her part in the game quite enthrallingly.

“Well, we’ll see about that a bit that later, maybe,” Blaise drawled, giving her a warning that he had something up his sleeve. He took her hand once more, his other turning her to face the cottage behind them as he drew her in to rest against his chest. “It’s a little overgrown in places, but I thought it was quite pretty. There’s a lovely view of the stars from up here too and a table just down in that corner below the arbour.”

"It's pretty," Lavender agreed. The place was overgrown, like Blaise said, but at the same time that gave it a sort of wild romanticism that was rather alluring, just like Blaise's tone of voice. Just how much of tonight did he have planned? she wondered. That made her feel a little lost and she realised that there was really no escaping his plans because she couldn't Apparate home by herself not knowing the distance. Still, the uncertainty gave her a thrill of excitement.

"Show me," she said. "Let's go take a look."

“Umm, I can’t disagree there,” he purred, his eyes on Lavender. Blaise leant a little closer, lifting his fingers to his lips and sucking them clean. He’d liked the look on her face before she lowered her head. It had been almost coy.

Removing his fingers from his mouth, he brushed his thumb across her lip. “You missed a bit,” he whispered, deliberately echoing a moment from the last time he’d seen her.

Lavender's breath was a little shaky: why did that sounds familiar? "Thank you."

She reached for an olive, popping it into her mouth as she spooned some of the gnocchi onto her plate. "You're an excellent cook. What is it about men who cook that's so attractive?" Lavender speared a piece of gnocchi on the end of her fork. "Of course, I think you proved you were good in the kitchen the other night," she added in an innocent tone.

“Would you find me unattractive if I couldn’t cook, Lavender?” Blaise chuckled, amused at the way her voice had quivered.

“Perhaps it’s because it shows that we are good with our hands and-” He smirked, threading his hand through the witch’s hair. “Preparation. You have to be patient to cook. Each detail as important as any another.”

Lavender swallowed her mouthful of gnocchi, eyes half-closing as Blaise toyed with her hair. It felt very soothing and, yes, he was good with his hands.

"Well," she said softly, "I didn't know that you could cook until tonight. Anyway, I don't think you could be un..." She cleared her throat. There seemed to be something about Blaise that opened up that side of her personality and Lavender didn't know if that was a good thing or not. "The cooking skills are just a bonus."

“Come now. You must have some idea.” He knew she had ideas. She was clearly just to shy to say them.

Blaise pushed her jumper further up her arm and licked the skin on the inside of her elbow in slow circles. Goose bumps had risen on her arms and Blaise noted the increase of her pulse.

“You’re a medi-witch. Let’s start there. What happens when you’re deprived of one of your senses?”

Lavender swallowed, wondering if he were pushing her towards saying something in particular. She squirmed slightly on his lap as he licked the inside of her elbow.

"Ummm... you tend to adapt. Other senses try to compensate." The words sensory deprivation pushed themselves to the front of her mind and now Lavender was even more curious about Blaise's plans. "So you're going to... to do something to excite one of my other senses?"

Blaise groaned as the witch wriggled against him. “Careful,” he hissed teasingly, lifting her hand and biting the pad below her thumb gently.

“Am I not exciting any of your senses already?” Blaise purred, pulling her closer against him and causing her skirt to hitch slightly further. “What else does the blindfold do? How do you feel?”

Lavender pulled a face as he bit below her thumb: she hadn't expected that.

Biting her lip, Lavender nodded. She exhaled slowly, settling into a more comfortable position close to him. "It makes me... aware. Trying to take in everything around me. Listening to anything that might help me work out what's happening." His purr rumbled through her and Lavender remembered his teasing hiss, her lips twitching into a smile.

"I feel... like I could do what I want." Her hands smoothed up his arms, coming to cover his cheeks. "It's kind of freeing. I know no-one can see me right now, and I can't see anything." The pad of her thumb ran over his lower lip and Lavender found herself enjoying this more than she had a few moments before.

Blaise groaned. The low vibrating across Lavender’s skin. Fuck, that felt good. He thrust his hips up against her and pulled her jumper further aside, revealing the curve of the top of one of her breasts.

He licked the freshly revealed skin once and pulled his fingers from the witch’s mouth. Dipping them into another pot he smoothed a dab of the substance across her skin before brushing the rest of the whipped double cream, laced with vanilla and amaretto across her lips.

“I think the cream is too easy, so instead I’ll offer you a kiss for the names of each of the two favours added to it.”

Lavender's lips formed a pout as Blaise removed his fingers and she wondered what he had planned next. A few moments later, something cool was spread over her skin and then her lips. it was cream, Blaise told her, and he was right about that being easy to guess. Her tongue took a slow swipe over her upper lip, tasting it and assuming that, from what he said, he had added something to it.

"Vanilla," she said almost instantly, the distinctive flavour hitting her tongue. There was another taste, a bit like almonds. Lavender drew her lower lip into her mouth, sucking off the cream. She made a whining sound. "I know what the other one is, but I can't remember the name of it."

Blaise was impressed how quickly Lavender guessed the first flavour. He purred his approval and lowered his head to the dab he’d placed on her chest, sucking the cream from her skin hard enough to leave a mark.

He pulled back though at her whine, smirking at the frustration in it. “I suppose I could settle for an adequate description of the taste. What it reminds you of for example.”

Lavender's back arched as Blaise sucked the cream from her skin. She licked her lips again, hoping for another taste of the cream, and frowning as she tried to place the flavours.

"It's like almonds. But the cream's smooth... a liquid?"
