"It's good to see you," she said, leaning up to kiss his cheek in greeting. Perhaps the only way to tell whether this was worth pursuing or if she should concentrate on whatever her relationship was with Ron was to test this out and see where it took her. Of course, Blaise had no need to know about Ron, nor Ron about Blaise. "Did you want to come in? Or shall I just grab my cloak?"

She was dressed well, Blaise thought. Practical for the weather, but sexy none the less, and he let his gaze drift down to her boots once more as he stepped back.
“I think, perhaps, that you should get your cloak before I’m tempted to change the location of our dinner once more,” he replied slowly, allowing his lips to curl playfully before moving a little closer once more to whisper. “My memories didn’t do you justice, I think. You look lovely.”

Locking the door behind her, Lavender smiled, pulling her cloak over her shoulders and fastening it. "So where are we going for this picnic?"

He slipped his arms around her once more, and began to concentrate on a spot near the cottage garden he had found. “Okay, on the count of three. One,” he said, followed by a kiss to Lavender’s forehead. “Two.” A kiss to the tip of her nose. “Three…”

As Blaise wrapped his arms around her, preparing for the Apparation, Lavender relaxed, knowing that would make it easier. A slightly uncomfortable squeeze later and Blaise had taken her to the other side of the town, the word 'three' still in her ears. "Three," she murmured in agreement, tilting her head up to kiss his lips briefly.

“Well, we’ll see about that a bit that later, maybe,” Blaise drawled, giving her a warning that he had something up his sleeve. He took her hand once more, his other turning her to face the cottage behind them as he drew her in to rest against his chest. “It’s a little overgrown in places, but I thought it was quite pretty. There’s a lovely view of the stars from up here too and a table just down in that corner below the arbour.”

"Show me," she said. "Let's go take a look."

Removing his fingers from his mouth, he brushed his thumb across her lip. “You missed a bit,” he whispered, deliberately echoing a moment from the last time he’d seen her.

She reached for an olive, popping it into her mouth as she spooned some of the gnocchi onto her plate. "You're an excellent cook. What is it about men who cook that's so attractive?" Lavender speared a piece of gnocchi on the end of her fork. "Of course, I think you proved you were good in the kitchen the other night," she added in an innocent tone.

“Perhaps it’s because it shows that we are good with our hands and-” He smirked, threading his hand through the witch’s hair. “Preparation. You have to be patient to cook. Each detail as important as any another.”

"Well," she said softly, "I didn't know that you could cook until tonight. Anyway, I don't think you could be un..." She cleared her throat. There seemed to be something about Blaise that opened up that side of her personality and Lavender didn't know if that was a good thing or not. "The cooking skills are just a bonus."

Blaise pushed her jumper further up her arm and licked the skin on the inside of her elbow in slow circles. Goose bumps had risen on her arms and Blaise noted the increase of her pulse.
“You’re a medi-witch. Let’s start there. What happens when you’re deprived of one of your senses?”
Reply
"Ummm... you tend to adapt. Other senses try to compensate." The words sensory deprivation pushed themselves to the front of her mind and now Lavender was even more curious about Blaise's plans. "So you're going to... to do something to excite one of my other senses?"
Reply
“Am I not exciting any of your senses already?” Blaise purred, pulling her closer against him and causing her skirt to hitch slightly further. “What else does the blindfold do? How do you feel?”

Biting her lip, Lavender nodded. She exhaled slowly, settling into a more comfortable position close to him. "It makes me... aware. Trying to take in everything around me. Listening to anything that might help me work out what's happening." His purr rumbled through her and Lavender remembered his teasing hiss, her lips twitching into a smile.
"I feel... like I could do what I want." Her hands smoothed up his arms, coming to cover his cheeks. "It's kind of freeing. I know no-one can see me right now, and I can't see anything." The pad of her thumb ran over his lower lip and Lavender found herself enjoying this more than she had a few moments before.

He licked the freshly revealed skin once and pulled his fingers from the witch’s mouth. Dipping them into another pot he smoothed a dab of the substance across her skin before brushing the rest of the whipped double cream, laced with vanilla and amaretto across her lips.
“I think the cream is too easy, so instead I’ll offer you a kiss for the names of each of the two favours added to it.”
Reply
"Vanilla," she said almost instantly, the distinctive flavour hitting her tongue. There was another taste, a bit like almonds. Lavender drew her lower lip into her mouth, sucking off the cream. She made a whining sound. "I know what the other one is, but I can't remember the name of it."
Reply
He pulled back though at her whine, smirking at the frustration in it. “I suppose I could settle for an adequate description of the taste. What it reminds you of for example.”
Reply
"It's like almonds. But the cream's smooth... a liquid?"
