Charlie felt energized. That was the best way to describe it.
Silly, he thought, excited about drinks with George. But the truth was, he was dying to get out more. Since he'd been home, he'd done nothing but work on the cider house and stop in to check on his Mum (he liked to tell himself she needed his checking, though he knew it probably wasn't the case).
This was only the second time he'd been at the Five Alarm: the first having been the other night at the party for
George's friend Katie. Ron said he'd try to pop in tonight, too, and if there was anything better than a drink between two Weasley brothers, it was bound to be a drink between three Weasley brothers.
He opened the door and stepped into the warm, dark pub. Giving his eyes a tic to adjust, he began to look around to see if either of his brothers was here yet.
