("Borrowed") OWL: To Seti Vector

It was a strange and peevish owl that pecked on Seti Vector's living room window, with a note attached hastily to its leg. When the letter was retrieved, the bird absolutely refused to leave the window until it'd had no less than three pieces of meat and a crumpet. The owl then flew off moodily, if a bit unsteadily on such a full stomach. Its return path did not match the direction one would surmise based on the sender's home address.
That address being 5th and D street, belonging to one Julian R. Avery.

It's something along the lines of "That bloody Slytherin, not communicating like a decent human being, then only communicating when he has something to drop on me". If I left out a few adjectives, please feel free to indulge in insertion. Might I suggest lovely, accurate terms such as "handsome", "clever", "stylish", or even "audacious" (watch your meanings here) as I'm feeling plucky today?
I apologise profusely for my inconsiderate ways. You know that I love you and that I've missed you, right, my dear cousine? It's just that life seems to have instantly become busy and confusing, and generally moving at a horrendous pace. This is rather odd, as the war years seemed to drag out infinitely. I supppose that is good mileage on that "time flies when you're having fun" adage.
I suggest we make some fun of our own. I do miss you terribly, and we have so much on which to chat. Can you spare of a bit of time for your Habibi, say this Sunday or Monday? I'd like to have you over to my place for a change, especially as I owe you greatly for that surprise investment. (By the way, I'll need contact information for Yasmina, as I very much want to thank her personally.) Truly, any time is free, save for perhaps the rest of today, as I'm entertaining an unexpected bedmate house guest. I have so much to tell you, much of it very exciting indeed. Please say you'll forgive me and come over. I so very much need your wisdom and blessing right now.
