Setting his plans into action )
He swallowed hard, forcing himself to calm down, though it took every piece of will not to push her down on the sofa and take her right then and there.
Veela, he reminded himself. He's just trying to get her way.
Closing his eyes, he breathed deeply. 'Fleur,' he said hoarsely, his voice filled with arousal. 'I wouldn't want to keep you from your sister, I just think there are things you need to understand first. And I think I need to speak to her first as well,' he said, slowly daring to open his eyes.
'You see, I think Gabrielle could be in a lot of trouble,' he said slowly, pausing before he went on. 'I caught her trying to pick my pocked to get money for food, and I know the Aurors have been looking for a thief,' he stilled waiting a bit for a response to show on Fleur's face.
'She doesn't seem to trust people, Fleur,' he continued. 'If you come before I have the chance to tell her so...' he paused. 'You don't want her to run away because she felt the wards go off, do you?' he finally asked.

Fleur decided to play to his ego and she caught her bottom lip between her teeth, looking up at him as if there was no other wizard more important to her in that moment. "But you will promise I can meet with her as soon as it is possible?" she insisted.
The thought of Gabrielle in trouble really did concern Fleur. What would be the point in getting her sister back if the few remaining scraps of government tried to arrest her? Of course she would not let that happen, but the stress could prove too much. "She is well though? Not hurt?"

'Of course you can,' he said softly, feeling a strong urge to do as she wanted. If he hadn't intended on reuniting them from the start he might very well have decided to now. 'Tomorrow,' he finally added, running the scenario in his mind.
He would need to make sure Gabrielle stayed, make her feel comfortable enough not to want to leave - and he needed to tell her about Fleur. She should be happy. Somehow Theo wasn't sure she would be.
He turned to look at Fleur again, once more risking getting lost in those eyes. 'Yes,' he said, again hearing his voice become hoarse with arousal. 'She is well, or as well as can be expected,' he added. 'A bit malnourished, exhausted - nothing a good long sleep and plenty of food won't cure,' he said, fighting the urge to reach out and stroke Fleur's hair.
Realising he needed air to think straight, Theo stood up hastily. 'I should go back,' he said looking out at the boy still playing in the yard. There was something familiar with the boy, but the thought left him as soon as it had entered his mind and he turned back to Fleur.
'I need to get some food for Gabrielle to eat,' he said softly.

Liam was still safe, Fleur made sure of that as she turned to face Theo once more. Much as he had done, Fleur took one of his hands between her own and held it firmly. "If there is anything you need," Fleur paused for a moment. "-for Gabrielle, I will get it for you. I thank you very much for what you have done today," she continued as she led Theodore outside and into the sunshine once more.
"I will expect your owl this evening to tell me when I can see my sister. Goodbye Theodore," Fleur released his hand and took a step closer. She brushed her lips across his cheek in a quick kiss, determined that he wouldn't try to delay the meeting for any longer. Fleur smiled, more to herself than to Theodore as she turned and went back to Liam, who was currently trying to sneak up on two gnomes at once. She didn't look back to see Theodore's reaction and simply expected him to have left.

Instead he stood watching her as she returned to the playing child.
Too preoccupied with staring at the woman in front of him, Theo didn't even notice the feeling of familiarity as he glanced at the boy. He shuddered and shook off the feeling, adjusting his trousers to make them seem less...tight as he left and headed home, deciding that walking would probably be best, and a trip to Socks for food would be advisable.
