Lavender was in the staffroom reading one of the first books for her new midwifery training when loud noises outside disturbed her train of thoughts. Frowning, she took a sip of her nearly-cold coffee, hearing the grumbling voice of one of the security wizards. Content that the situation would be dealt with, Lavender flipped over the page.
A few moments later, one of her colleagues appeared at the door, sighing as she leant against the doorframe. "Some foreign kid wants you, Lav. She's kicking up quite a fuss so you'd better come and see what she wants - she's starting to disturb people."
Foreign kid? Lavender wasn't sure who that could be so, curious, she followed the noise. "What's going on?"
