a post just to startle you and see if you are paying attention
this upcoming september, which is up and coming way too quickly, assuming all continues to go well, i will be participating with some friends in the J/24 Western Regionals and J/24 National Championships races that are being held locally in San Francisco Bay. for those of you for whom those words make individual sense but not a coherent sentence, it translates roughly as "i will be racing in a sailboat against a lot of very talented competition."
sailing in this means nothing about our accomplishments as sailors and mostly just means we have the money to be able to afford to enter our boat. we may thoroughly embarrass ourselves. i am not shilling for audience or sponsorship, although if you are dying to come watch or spend money, by all means contact me privately!
