Leaving
I came to the conclusion recently that only two things are keeping me in Ireland, friends and lack of money to move.
The first is a pretty much the only thing there is in this country for me. It wouldn't be so bad if the country was actually decently administered but it's not and therefore friends just aren't enough to keep me here any more, sorry guys, I love you all really but times change and some people just have to move on.
The second is a factor of continued unemployment which given the shambles that constitutes governance around here is a pretty circular restriction. I reckon if I can get a short contract of some kind or even a year of "permanent" work I'll save up so I can leave.
Oh and to all those friends who have been my excuse for not doing this earlier, you're welcome to come with, in fact, I recommend it.
