After a very depressing loss to Washington, 10-9, which was total bullshit and I mean total bullshit, we've bounced back in the tournament we played today by placing 3rd once again in the Independence Tournament. Sure we had our ups and downs, but in my opinion it was all worth it. Our season seems to get brighter and brighter as it progresses.
For the third place trophy of the tournament, we played Lincoln High School. On the first play, literally like the first 10 seconds of the game, I smacked number 9, one of their big guys, right in the nose, of course, unintentionally. I have to admit I didn't feel to good about that because he had to sit out the first quarter, holding his nose.
However, my sympathy totally vanished in the 4th quarter.
Number 10 was a total douche. He was the dirtiest player I've encountered in awhile, fucking throwing punches, kicks, headbutts and shit. That really pissed me off during the game. Nick R. and I were really pissed because he was doing that shit to both of us. The coach had to take me out because I was so mad. Good thing we shut his ass down in the game. Owned that team by like 7 goals.
I have to say that I'm really proud of this team.
